At Nantoka Bar, the owner changes each day, and so does the food. What you’ll find depends on when you visit, but the menu has included Shanghai-style soup dumplings, lamb dumplings and a chicken-and-dal curry.

One diner enjoyed Shanghai-style grilled buns and lamb dumplings; another visitor, on a different day, tried curry with a cheese-filled, naan-like bread. Rather than making a beeline for a signature dish, come for the chance to discover what’s being cooked that day.

Drinks on the menu include lemon sours, highballs and wine, so there are options to enjoy with a meal. The bar serves food for dining in and is open every day from 20:00 until 2:00 the following day.
